Each year a talented group of Washington Business Week alums and current high school students are chosen to be ambassadors of the program where they live. This year’s group recently met with Herman Calzadillas, Executive Director, to be trained to do their new critically important roles. Of the 2017 group, Herman said,

“The students are excellent, high achievers from their respective schools. They care deeply about their schools and community, and want to share the WBW experience because they believe it can better prepare teens for college and careers. This ambassador group all agreed they feel they have a competitive edge because of their involvement in the WBW programs.  After meeting them first hand – I would agree they have the edge!”
The students this year represent the following high schools:
  • Eastlake
  • Redmond
  • Mercer Island
  • Black Hills
  • Highline
  • Newport
  • Tahoma
  • White Pass
  • Bothell
  • Emerald Ridge
If you would like to have one of them come speak to your company or service group about Washington Business Week and why other Washington State youth should attend, please contact Emily Garrett at emily@wbw.org.
