Building Futures...One Teen at a Time

Washington Business Week is able to impact over 3,000 teens a year because of contributions made by businesses, service clubs, individuals and foundations. Community volunteer and financial support makes the program accessible to teens during the summer and school year.

The full cost is $1200 per teen (summer). Students stay the entire week directly on the university campus. Teens pay a $455-$855 registration fee (financial assistance is available, and we award approx. $60,000 per year). Each teen has a business, community or individual “Sponsor” that has donated $500 or more.  Statewide Corporate and Foundation grants secure the remainder.  The In-School Program cost is about $150 per student.

Your contribution inspires the youth of Washington State to create success in their lives, their future workplaces and communities. The real-life experience at Business Week changes teens and bridges the gap between generations. One student sums it up, “I now feel a connection between me and the business world.”

Pledge your support today and make a lasting impact. Sponsorships can be designated to teens for your city, region or a particular Pathway (Healthcare, Manufacturing, Energy or Agriculture):
$5,000
sponsors 1 “Company” of 10 teens
$1,500
sponsors 2 teens from your community who would like to attend our Summer Program
$750
sponsors 1 teen from your community who would like to attend our Summer Program
$300
($25 month)….financial assistance for 1 teen who cannot afford the registration fee
$150
($12.50 month) pays the cost of 1 “In-School” student
$50
pays for a t-shirt and printed materials for 1 student

Thank you for considering a gift to support Washington teens so they can participate in this unique real-world experience. Teens who attend a Business Week program, either on a university campus during the summer or in their high school during the school year, are better prepared to lead all of us into the future.
