Washington Business Week's Summer Programs are held on four different college campuses (Pacific Lutheran University, Gonzaga, Central Washing University and Western Washington University.) You can choose the specific program or location that best fits your needs and interest. The programs allow students to experience simulated challenges in a general business setting or in a specific career focused pathway and compete with other participants from around the state. Each group of 10-12 participants is matched with a volunteer mentor from the related business sector to serve as your guide through the week. One of the best aspects of our Summer Program is that each week takes place on a college campus! If you are thinking about attending college, you will have the opportunity to actually live in the dorms, eat the food and get a sense of what to expect. Even if you haven't made up your mind about going to college, you'll get direct exposure to the business community and you'll meet hundreds of students from around the state! All of the Pathway Programs are designed to engage the students in a hands-on, experiential learning opportunity! You will learn respect and tolerance for others while building your leadership style and engaging in teamwork and team-building activities. Students also enhance their workforce readiness skills, build a stronger connection between school and work, and learn more about opportunities that are available to them as they transition into the workforce. Programs Offered: Business Week: This is our primary program and is applicable to every student regardless of your career choice.
