Meet The Business Week Staff
Stephen Hyer, EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Steve works very closely with the Board of Directors to update the Foundation programs. He has been with Business Week since 1996 and is responsible for the overall operation of the Foundation. Steve has 28 years of experience with non-profits, and has built extensive relationships with business and community leaders. Steve and his family also own Olympia retail businesses, The Alpine Experience and Olympic Outfitters, specializing in serious mountaineering equipment, skis and snowboards.
Tracey Turcotte, PROGRAM MANAGER
Tracey manages the overall program delivery for the Summer and Community / In-School Programs. Previously, she was involved with Business Week as a volunteer Company Advisor, Judge and Speaker. Tracey has an extensive background working with teens as an educator, speaker, camp counselor, and student recruiter.
Sharon Prager, DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
Sharon works with the staff, Development Committee, and funders to facilitate the fundraising efforts of Business Week. She has worked with non-profits since 1997. Sharon completed her B.A. in 1996, and the Professional Fundraising Management Certificate Program in 2006, at the University of Washington, Tacoma. Sharon has lived in Washington State since 1987, and currently resides in Federal Way.
Pam McKiernan, OFFICE MANAGER
Sarah Gralish, STUDENT COORDINATOR
Sarah is in charge of promoting the Summer Program to students and high schools across the state. She graduated from Central Washington University in 2001 with a degree in Recreation Management and Leisure Services. Sarah has a strong background in working with non-profit camps and teen leadership. In her spare time, Sarah enjoys rock climbing, hiking, spending time with my family and traveling.
Alisa Johnson, Program Coordinator/Registrar
Alisa supports the Program Manager, prepares program materials and processes registrations for the summer programs. She has a broad background in office efficiency, system and business management. In her spare time, she can be found on the track or cross country course following her kids.
Alma Alvarez, OFFICE ASSISTANT
Alma is in charge of mailings, reception, and general office support. Alma graduated from the Federal Way High School in 2007 and received an Associate of Arts degree from Highline Community College in the fall of 2009.
