An Exciting Experience for Omak & Okanogan High School Juniors

Omak & Okanogan Business Week will be in March 2023 and is sponsored by the Omak & Okanogan School Districts. At Omak & Okanogan Business Week, high school juniors and faculty engage in discovery-based learning. Through hands-on activities in the Business Week simulation, students learn soft skills and business acumen in order to succeed after high school.

Volunteers from Omak & Okanogan businesses act as mentors for each student company as they move to compete against other student companies. Competitions include a business simulation, a marketing and stockholder’s presentation, and a trade show. By the fifth day, each student will have an appreciation of the “real world” workplace, improved leadership and teamwork skills, and increased self-confidence.
