BOARD

Our Board

Washington Business Week is governed by a 100% volunteer Board of Directors. The majority of our Board members have experienced the life-changing nature of our programs either by participating as high school students and/or volunteering for the program as adults. They are passionate and committed to improving the lives of Washington State’s youth. We aim to have a diverse Board of Directors from gender to race and ethnicity, to also include various industries that reflect the businesses across Washington State.

Boeing employees are generous with their time volunteering with valued non-profit partners. Serving as a WBW Company Advisor provides experiential leadership development opportunities for employees to get a feel for what it’s like to be in a formal leadership role as well as to help support the mission of WBW.

– James Garnett, Program Manager, Business Employee Development, The Boeing Company & WBW Board Chair
